The Choice Program

The Choice Program, a signature program of UMBC and The Shriver Center, is a nationally recognized initiative that serves youth in Maryland’s juvenile justice system. The Choice Program intervention focuses on a community-based, family-centered case management approach to delinquency prevention and youth development. As discussed with many of you at our recent college fairs, The Choice Program currently operates three team models in the Baltimore area: the Intensive Advocacy program, the Choice Jobs Program, and the Choice Education Program.

Where Did UM Graduates Go?
Twice a year the University Career Center & The President's Promise collects data from the graduating class in December and May. This data is not only useful to show the strength of the students at UM but it can also give current students a glimpse as to what they can do with their majors.

How to view the data:
First, set up an account in the Center’s jobs and internships database, Careers4Terps (http://c4t.umd.edu/). On the main page of your Careers4Terps account, click the link to "Where Did UM Graduates Go?" and select the college and major you are interested in researching.

Department of Justice Executive Office for Organized Crime Drug Enforcement, Washington, DC

The Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) Program is the centerpiece of the Department of Justice's counter-narcotics strategy.
