Private Detective Agency Seeking Applicants for Full Time Positions

A Maryland based private detective agency is seeking applicants for a full time as well as part time positions. The agency specializes in insurance fraud and related investigations.  Below are some details about the agency and the position.
  • The agency works for doctors, hospitals, defense attorneys, and insurance carriers.
  • The position is primarily responsible for conducting video surveillance of individuals who have filed a claim alleging injury.
  • The agency is willing to train new employees from the ground up.
  • The agency will supply all equipment necessary to complete the job.
  • The training period is three weeks and during the training period new employees will learn how to set up and conduct mobile surveillance and obtain video evidence.

Federal Semester and Global Semester Programs Still Accepting Applications

Want college credit for an internship in Washington D.C.? Interested in Homeland Security and/or global policy issues? Intrigued by the idea of a career in public service? Apply now to the Federal Semester Program or the Global Semester Program in D.C.

Both programs combine a fall seminar in an issue area with a spring internship in Washington D.C. Some of our concentrations include: Homeland and National Security Policy, Responses to Global Challenges, and U.S. Diplomacy and Public Policy-making. Past internship locations include: the Department of Homeland Security, the House Committee on Homeland Security, Helios Global, and the Center for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START).  Year-round activities include trips to Capitol Hill and federal agencies, professional development workshops, and conversations with policymakers.

Volunteers Needed For Maryland Day

CCJS is currently seeking volunteers for Maryland Day!  CCJS needs helps with our forensic activities, including: fingerprinting, dusting for fingerprints, dollhouse crime scenes, mock crime scenes, and polygraphs.  The event is from 10:00am – 4:00pm.  Students can sign up for 2-hour shifts.  Please consider volunteering your time and helping out the CCJS Department!
