Education Abroad recognizes that there are groups of students who are underrepresented in study abroad, which means they study abroad at lower rates than other students. These groups include racial/ethnic minorities, first generation college students and LGBTQ students.

Did you know that UMD is sends students abroad from these groups at a higher rate than the national average? Now that’s something to celebrate!

As a study abroad alumni, you are a pioneer and can where you can give advice and share your experience with other study abroad students who are like you!

Even if you are not underrepresented but you care about diversifying and creating access to study abroad experiences for everyone, we want you to help us celebrate.
