FBI Honors Internship Summer 2017 Accepting Applications Now

Image result for FBIAttention, undergraduate and graduate students: Interested in being part of the war on terror? Breaking up an international crime ring? Identifying criminals who exploit young children on the Internet? Working side-by-side with top-notch forensic experts to solve a violent crime?  If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions, then the FBI Honors Internship Program might be for you. This 10-week program offers students an insider’s view of FBI operations, from counterterrorism, cyber, counterintelligence, and fraud investigations…to vital support services like laboratory exams, fingerprint identification, and behavioral analysis.  The Honors Internship Program application for Summer 2017 opens August 26 and closes October 14, 2016.

Benjamin A. Gilman Study Abroad Scholarship - Accepting Applications

Image result for gilman scholarshipAre you considering studying abroad and a Pell Grant Student?  If so, please consider applying for the exciting study abroad scholarship, the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship. The Gilman awards up to $5000 per student to help fund study abroad opportunities. The application deadline for Spring 2017 is Tuesday, October 4, 2016.

Qualified students must be U.S. Citizens, who receive the Pell Grant, and are applying for a study abroad program that is at least 4 weeks long. This is a highly competitive scholarship which requires advanced planning with both Education Abroad and National Scholarships Office.  Students interested in applying should...
  1. Meet with an Education Abroad Regional Advisor to plan their study abroad for spring 2017

GILMAN INFO SESSION: Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM in Susquehanna Hall, room 3105.  The Education Abroad and the National Scholarships Office are co-hosting a Gilman information session and alumni panel.
