CCJS Stamps
All CCJS courses (with the exception of CCJS100, CCJS105, CCJS225, CCJS325, and CCJS370) require permission to register, regardless of whether or not you are in the major. In order to obtain permission for any CCJS course, you must submit a request via our stamps website. We will then review your academic record and make sure you meet the prerequisites and/or are eligible to take the course. Stamps are reviewed in the order they come in and take no more than 24 business hours. Please check your spam folder if the confirmation and approval emails do not go into your primary inbox.
The majority of CCJS courses are actually open to non-majors, so non-majors will be able to add them with departmental approval. The only courses that are restricted to majors-only are CCJS200, CCJS342, and CCJS345. These courses up to non-majors starting on the first day of the semester. Please note, all students are limited to 3 CCJS course permissions prior to the first day of classes. Majors-only restriction for CCJS200, CCJS342, and CCJS345 do not apply to summer and winter terms.
