Ocean City Police Department Early Testing Date
Ocean City Maryland Police Department has a special early testing date for the Summer 2017 season! The Ocean City Police Department will be holding several test dates for interested candidates applying for seasonal and full-time Police Officers, Public Safety Aides, and Communications Operators. There will be a special early testing date of Thursday, August 4, 2016 and Friday August 5, 2016. Additional testing dates for October to February will be posted shortly. Successful candidates will remain on the eligibility list for 18 months.
- Thursday’s testing will take place at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center, 4001 Coastal Highway, Ocean City, MD 21842.
- Friday’s Officer interviews will take place at the Ocean City Police Department, 6501 Coastal Highway, Ocean City, MD 21842.

Interested in Taking CCJS 100 Summer II? Register for Our Aug 1 - Aug 19 Course!
Still need to complete CCJS 100? Consider registering for the CCJS 100 in Summer Session II. The CCJS department is offering CCJS 100 in a condensed version with sections 0601/FF61 only meeting August 1 - August 19. The course is open to current UMD student and new Fall 2016 Freshmen.
If you are new to the UMD campus Fall '16, no problem! The FF61 section is apart of the Freshmen First program.

Army ROTC is looking for rising juniors, graduating in May 2018, who are interested in serving as Commissioned Officers in the National Guard or Army Reserves after graduation. National Guard and Army Reserve Officers can specialize in fields related to their major– Intelligence / Governmental Affairs / Logistics / Law Enforcement.
Service after graduation is limited to one weekend per month and a two week period each summer, which allows the individual free to pursue a civilian career. Scholarships and financial benefits are available.
