This Wednesday, November 11th from 3-4pm ET there will be a special event co-sponsored by the Honors College and the Petey Greene Program at UMD. During this one hour Zoom event we will hear from Amy Roza, Executive Director of the Goucher Prison Education Partnership (GPEP) and two special guests, former GPEP students. Amy Roza will be discussing the GPEP program, through which Goucher College offers exceptional college education to men and women incarcerated in the State of Maryland. Amy Roza has also worked as a Program Director for Teach for America, as the Director of Youth Services at the Center for Court Innovation, as a teacher at the Riker’s Island Jail in New York City, and as the Program Director for associate’s degree education at San Quentin Prison in California.
