First Generation Terps Panel

Join the University of Maryland Alumni Association and the Student Alumni Leadership Council (SALC) for the First Generation Terps Panel on Wednesday, November 12, from 6–8 p.m. at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center. Hear from three first-generation Terp alums in a student-led panel, followed by a networking reception with hors d'oeuvres and refreshments.
This year's speakers are: Ume Habiba '24, Joe Levin-Manning, MBA '17 and Norka Padilla '87
The panel will be welcomed by Alethia N. Nancoo '90, M.Ed. '92, Alumni Association Board of Governors Member, and moderated by Urszula Cieslak '26, SALC VP of Alumni Programming.

All UMD students, alums and community members are welcome to join and celebrate the first-generation Terp experience on this special evening. Free parking is available in Lot 1 and Lot Z after 4pm.
