The Baltimore Police Department is holding two more large recruitment
events where applicants can take advantage of several stages in processing in a
short period of time. Those with college
degrees or plan on graduating in December, with any major, are highly
encouraged to apply.

The first step of the process is to take the civil
service exam. This test is held every Tuesday
at 12:30 P.M. and 6:00 P.M., in addition to the above dates. Once the applicant pass the civil service and physical agility test, the
applicant will be assigned a background investigator who will call for an
interview and schedule a medical examination, psychological consult, and review
employment paperwork with documents.
After the successful completion of all phases and a positive out come
from the background investigation, employment will be offered.
Those interested in the December 11th/12th event, must
complete the employment application package.
This package has a list of documents that are required to continue their
processing. Applicants who are interested applying should contact CCJS Advising to obtain the employment application package. Those attending a Tuesday
testing or the first event in December, will not need to bring the employment
package.
