All UMD students willing to work and in good academic
standing with the University are qualified to be on the Security Team. You do NOT need any previous experience and
there are no physical qualifications (females are encouraged to join!).
WHAT DO I GAIN FROM JOINING?
As a Security Team member, students are paid for the
events they work, and depending on the event, are fed! Being on the team is a great experience and
STUDENTS get to choose when they work.
HOW DO I JOIN?
SEE will be holding a membership meeting on TUESDAY,
FEBRUARY 7th at 7:00 PM in the Atrium of the Stamp Student Union (located near
the top of the stair case next to the service desk leading to the food
court). At the meeting, students will
receive more information about SEE and learn how to get involved. Students who
join the Security and/or Tech Team must attend a payroll session, which will
take place on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24th from 2-4 PM in Terrapin Room B/C located In
the Student Involvement Suite.
If you CANNOT attend the membership meeting or payroll
session, but are interested in joining the Security Team, please email the
Security Director (seesecurity@umd.edu). If you have any other questions or concerns,
feel free to email the Membership Director (seemembership@umd.edu) or the Security
Director.
