Center for American Politics and Citizenship (CAPC) and the Department of Government and Politics offer
three exciting internship programs to help University of Maryland
undergraduates gain real-world experience in government and public policy,
coupled with classroom training: the Maryland Internship Program (MIP), Capitol
Hill Internship Program (CHIP), and Public Policy Internship Program
(PPIP). You will have the opportunity to
intern in federal, state and local government offices and agencies for a
semester, earning course credit and valuable experience.
Applications are currently being accepted for the Spring
2014 Session of MIP (deadline November 1st), CHIP, and PPIP.
