Job Summary:
Complete a training program which combines CSX Core Values
with learning to ensure the protection and safety of all employees, customers,
public and pedestrians while on or about CSX Transportation (CSXT) property.
Training centers around providing experience protecting our national strategic
rail network while learning the CSXT network and operations. Associates will
protect shipments entrusted to CSXT against theft and vandalism, investigate
crimes on or against the railroad, participate in public safety activities
(including Operations Lifesaver), support the general mission of the police
department, and learn how to prevent crime and protect the interests of CSX.
Upon successful completion of the twelve month program, the associates are
placed in a Special Agent role at any geographic location which has a business
need in the CSX network.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required in Criminal Justice required to be complete by January 2014 or June 2014
- 2-11 months of experience required in Criminal Investigation training, internship, experience, or other in depth specialized police/law enforcement training coursework
