Interested in Homeland Security and/or global policy issues? Intrigued by the
idea of a career in public service? Apply now to the Federal Semester Program
or the Global Semester Program in D.C.!
Both programs combine a fall seminar in an issue area with a
spring internship in Washington D.C. Some of our concentrations include:
Homeland and National Security Policy, Responses to Global Challenges, and U.S.
Diplomacy and Public Policy-making. Past internship locations include: the
Department of Homeland Security, the House Committee on Homeland Security,
Helios Global, and the Center for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to
Terrorism (START). Year-round activities
include trips to Capitol Hill and federal agencies, professional development
workshops, and conversations with policymakers.
