The University Book Center (UBC) is the official supplier of commencement regalia for UMD with Oak Hall as the official provider. The UBC, located in the Stamp Student Union, is where you can purchase your graduate cap and gown and diploma frames. You can purchase all your commencement needs March 10, 11, 12 from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM at the Grad Fair, hosted by the UBC. The deadline to purchase regalia is April 3, 2015. After this date, the selection of sizes and hood colors will be limited. Please purchase your regalia during Grad Fair!
Undergraduate students must purchase
their regalia from the book center. The following items are required and sold
as a package:
- Cap
- Gown
- Departmental hood (Bachelor of Arts hood has a white velvet)
- Stole of gratitude
- Tassel with official medallion
Undergraduates that shop during Grad
Fair will save 10% on the package price. The undergraduate package will cost $138.98. Items may be shipped for an additional
