The Academic Tutorial Program in the University of
Maryland’s Athletic Department is currently hiring tutors for the upcoming Fall
semester. These paid, on-campus
positions will look great on your resume and will provide you with the
opportunity to help other students become successful, independent learners.
Academic Tutors will be assigned to work with
student-athletes and provide tutorial services in various academic disciplines,
assist tutees to better comprehend course material(s), clarify class
requirements, and assist with the development of stronger academic skills.
Our ideal candidates will have completed their freshman
undergraduate year, maintained 3.2 GPA, and will have experience or interest in
the field of education, teaching, or tutoring.
