CCJS 320 provides students with an introduction to forensic science. The course is taught by Professor Thomas Mauriello, who has been featured on Investigation Discovery and various documentaries on the Discovery Channel. Students in the course learn about:
- Crime scene physical evidence
- Preservation of evidence
- Polygraphing, firearms identification
- Blood analysis
- Death investigation
- And more
CCJS 320 is a hybrid course, students watch online lectures and meet in-person for labs. CCJS 320 is hands-on and interactive.
