New Section of CCJS 418Q in Fall 2019

A new section of CCJS 418Q Seminar in Criminology and Criminal Justice; Crime and Place was just added for the Fall 2019 Semester!

Prerequisites: CCJS 100, CCJS 105, & CCJS 300
Day/Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30 PM - 4:45 PM
Credits: 3
Location: Tydings Hall, room 1102

Description:  This course will focus on the following two questions: (1) Why does crime vary across communities?  (2) Why does crime vary within communities?  We will take an interdisciplinary approach to explore these questions, discussing perspectives and research from sociology, criminology, psychology and geography.
