Madison Associates Inc. (MAI) is seeking a qualified candidate for an Investigative Analyst position in the Rockville, MD area. MAI is a law enforcement professional services firm which provides technical advice and assistance to governments, enforcement agencies, and private companies in the areas of forensic accounting, financial crime, money laundering, corruption, asset forfeiture and business monitoring.
As an Investigative Analyst, the selected candidate will be responsible for cataloging evidence, maintaining chain of custody, converting paper and electronic documents into digital searchable images, reviewing evidence, creating encrypted media converting financial statements to spreadsheets, and data entry. Other duties could include analyzing financial documents or communications in a visual data analytic tool. Candidates should b able to work in a team atmosphere and communicate effectively with team members and law enforcement officials.
The candidate should also be proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and other Microsoft products. Knowledge of government databases is preferable. Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to receive a Security Clearance.
