Internship
Location: Washington, DC
The internship will consist of attending Committee hearings, giving tours of the U.S. Capitol, constituent correspondence, and any additional tasks delegated by our legislative staff. This is a paid position and no previous experience working in DC or on Capitol Hill is required. We are looking for students who are well-spoken, ambitious, and work well in a high paced environment. Ideally, students who are studying Government, International Relations, Public Policy, and or Political Science are desired, however any other related or relevant degree is acceptable. This is an opportunity to be in person in Washington DC, learning from staffers on Capitol Hill while cultivating an invaluable, professional network that can significantly help with finding a permanent position post-grad.
The term dates are as follows (There is flexibility for these dates):
- Fall: September 1st- November 24th
- Spring: January 20th- May 20th
- Summer: May 25th- August 1st
