START is currently looking for students to travel to Singapore with
us this summer on a study abroad program exploring countering violent
extremism, deradicalization, and community engagement. While in country, we
will work with a partner research center at one of Singapore’s leading
universities to explore what Singapore—a world leader in terrorist
deradicalization—has to provide to our knowledge of countering violent
extremism on the ground. We’ll also have time to explore the culture of
Singapore at the height of Ramadan (and take a night safari!).
