International Internships Panel: Student Perspectives will be held on Monday, November 14th from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM in the University Career Center - 3100 Hornbake Library, South Wing.
This event is aimed at anyone who is interested in interning in a foreign country. You will learn about options that exist through UMD and off campus, and the benefits of international work experience. The panelists will also share their experiences abroad.
The 4 panelists attending represent a wide range of majors and internship destinations:
- Jiahui Dong, Microbiology major, Research internship in China
- Jaime Capron, Government and Politics major, Internship at U.S. Embassy in Tanzania
- Carrie Lewey, Agricultural Resource Economics major, Disabilities in Global Context in Ghana
- Colton Seigel, Government and Politics and French major, English Teaching Internship (Learning Enterprises) in Mauritius
