Trafficking Victim Assistance internship w/ USCRI

The U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) is currently seeking to hire an intern for their Trafficking Victim Assistance Program (TVAP). The central purpose of the program is to help foreign national survivors of human trafficking achieve HHS certification and provide trauma-informed, person-centered, comprehensive case management  services, facilitating timely access to benefits and community referrals so they can rebuild their  lives and re-establish their ability to live independently.

The TVAP Intern provides critical referral support to ensure survivors are connected to quality,  trauma-informed case management services throughout the country. The intern will identify  and outreach to partners and organizations that may be able to provide quality standards of  care to eligible foreign-national victims of human trafficking. The TVAP Intern will work closely with the Child/Youth Program Officer and Program Assistant and reports to the Supervisory  Program Officer of the Trafficking Victim Assistance Program located at USCRI’s headquarters office in Arlington, VA.  More information about this opportunity and its duties/responsibilities can be found on this internship flyer.

All interested students can apply by submitting a resume, cover letter, and two references with name, relationship  and contact information to Thuba Roush at troush@uscridc.org. Please use the subject line: TVAP Internship.
