Implementation Coordinator; University of Colorado Boulder
The LifeSkills Training Implementation Coordinator partners with schools across the nation to support the implementation of Botvin LifeSkills Training (LST) Middle School and High School Programs, evidence-informed universal prevention programs that teach personal self-management skills, social skills, and general refusal skills to equip adolescents with the knowledge and skills to develop healthy attitudes and behaviors. The Implementation Coordinator works directly with assigned schools across the U.S. to foster the successful delivery of LST. Specifically, the Implementation Coordinator aids in implementation by providing school districts with existing resources, coordinating training, monitoring adherence to program guidelines, and planning for program sustainability.
The Institute of Behavioral Science (IBS) is a research institute within the Research and Innovation Office of the University of Colorado Boulder. Since its establishment in 1957, it has provided a setting for interdisciplinary collaborative research on problems of societal concern. By engaging faculty from all the social and behavioral sciences at the University of Colorado, Boulder, IBS encourages work that transcends disciplinary boundaries, illuminates the complexity of social behavior and social life, and that has important implications for social policy.
