The University of Maryland is hosting its 3rd annual Social Justice Day. The day will include free activities focused on this year's campus-wide theme of immigration, migration, and refugee issues. Multiple sessions will be offered throughout the day; for more information, visit go.umd.edu/sjd2019.
Join us for the keynote speaker, Diane Guerrero, at 5:30 PM in the Hoff Theater at the Stamp Student Union. Known for her roles as Maritza Ramos on Orange is the New Black and Lina on Jane the Virgin, Guerrero has also published a memoir about her struggles as a student. She will share her personal experiences and her work as an advocate for immigration reform in conversation with UMD's Undocuterps students, plus book signing. Please RSVP here.
