Summer 2021 Research Internship w/ Urban Institute


The Justice Policy Center at the Urban Institute is seeking a Research Intern who can work collaboratively on projects aimed to enhance and measure criminal justice response in the United States. The Justice Policy Center conducts research and evaluations to improve justice policy and practice at the national, state and local levels. Responsibilities include:

  • Data Collection
  • Background Research
  • Literature Reviews
  • Data Analysis

Qualified candidates should: 
  • Be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS), as a rising Junior, Senior, or a Master's in Criminal Justice, Sociology, or related field or be attending law school
  • Have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Possess exceptional Organization skills, in order to provide support across multiple activities and tasks
  • Have the desire to enhance their research skills
