The Security Operations intern will be provided with opportunities across a number of areas within the Security Operations team at Gigafactory Nevada (GFNV). These areas include, security operations, security systems training, corporate security compliance, De-escalation of force , security awareness, and security best practices and standards. Under general supervision, the individual will work with our Security Operations Site Supervisor to support in Corporate Security Compliance. The Intern will receive the opportunity to build professional relationships, enhance interpersonal skills, and gain on-the-job training and mentorship through handling real time security incidents. The Security Operations intern will handle a variety of duties within these areas.
Responsibilities & General Duties:
- Shadow Security Operations Site Supervisor to gain exposure to areas of responsibility.
- Attend weekly team operations meetings.
- Conduct review of security operations procedures and training materials, and update as needed.
- Collaborate with team on documenting security best practices in effort to create security standards.
- Provide input on security awareness offerings and help develop program.
- Elevate unresolved issues/ problems to security management.
