The Feller Center seeks an organized and dedicated undergraduate student to fill the position of Orientation Peer Advisor to assist with the preparation and operation of the Freshman and Transfer Orientation programs during the Summer 2021 term. This is a paid position.
Job Responsibilities
- Introduce University and College polices to incoming students
- Collaborate with the Feller Center orientation coordinators
- Participate in individual advising sessions with students prior to registration
- Assist first year students with course registration
- Serve as a panelist during BSOS Parent Information Sessions
- Prepare orientation folders and files for incoming students
- Send email reminders to students, as needed
- Review summer AP/IB report and assist students with appropriate schedule adjustments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with BSOS Peer Mentors, BSOS Ambassadors, BSOS
DSAC is preferred. However, all students are encourage to apply!
