Hiring Student Ambassadors

Leadership and Community-Service Learning is hiring Student Organization Ambassadors for the upcoming Fall 2021-Spring 2022 year! These interns will be working directly with the stakeholders of Services 24/7 to expand and improve the service. Duties include creating relationships with student organizations, nonprofit partners, and UMD Departments. This is a higher-order leadership position that will push you to learn more about community advocacy, challenge you to connect UMD to the greater Prince George’s area, and create positive outcomes for our community partners and students. To be considered for both positions, please click here to apply.

Services 24/7 is an online directory for residents of Prince George's County looking for non-profit organizations that provide human and social services and also a directory for University of Maryland students seeking non-profit organizations with which to volunteer.

Services 24/7 serves two purposes:
  1. connecting the citizens of Prince George's County with the resources they need to enhance their quality of life
  2. connecting the vast human resource of volunteers at the University of Maryland and in our county to nonprofits in order to increase their capacity to volunteer/serve.
