Leading Women of Tomorrow is a student run, non-profit, bipartisan organization that seeks to encourage more young women to consider careers in public service, with the aim of bridging the gender gap among public representatives. Gender equality is a sustainable development goal, and they were recently recognized at the UN for their efforts.
Leading Women of Tomorrow is looking for passionate students to lead their new campus chapter at University of Maryland-College Park! Chapter presidents, vice-presidents, treasurers, and secretaries will have the opportunity to work with local community leaders as well as national political and policy professionals, coordinating events for campus and program implementation with support from our Washington, D.C. headquarters.
This is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on the community. Interested students can refer to the list of proposed chapter board roles. Hours are very flexible, and no travel is required. Students from all majors are welcome to join!
