Join the BSOS Dean's Student Advisory Council

The Dean’s Student Advisory Council (DSAC) was formed in the fall of 2002. The Council is charged with advising the BSOS Dean and Associate Dean on various topics affecting students and their educational and social experiences at the University of Maryland. (For more information about DSAC and positions check us out here: http://bsosdsac.com)

DSAC is developing systems to help the College strengthen its sense of community, and is creating better relationships with each academic department in hopes of being able to better address the issues and concerns of students. This year, the Council has focused on fostering strong student-faculty connections, developing outreach to our constituencies, and providing and developing new resources for students! DSAC is a resource for BSOS students to voice their concerns on issues regarding the college.
