Summary
The Investigative Analyst I shall support the INTERPOL Operations Command Center (IOCC), the Foreign Notices Program in Global Police Services, and other USNCB operational divisions if requested.
The USNCB is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week mission.
Responsibilities
- Generate electronic case files in INTERPOL Washington’s internal case management system, including data entry and uploading of preliminary investigative findings.
- Transmit investigative information through international and domestic telecommunication systems in response to routine investigative and humanitarian inquires.
- Answer and respond to phone inquiries from both domestic and international law enforcement partners.
- Perform database queries in domestic and international law enforcement, compliance, and/or inspection computer systems to identify, gather, and organize investigative leads.
- Enter lookouts on foreign criminals into U.S. databases.
- Inspect electronic case files and various documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 1+ years of experience performing the basic tasks of this position
- Experience with various software is essential, i.e., Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Access and Excel
- Experience applying analytical and evaluation methods and techniques
- Top Secret clearance required
