Student Leader Opportunities for 2023-2024
Did you know that by being a part of the Leadership & Community Service-Learning Office, you can be a volunteer for your community while adding valuable resume experience as a leader?
Here are some leadership opportunities within our programs for the upcoming school year to look out for:
- MLEAD Facilitators facilitate dialogues, organize session logistics, and deliver curriculum for the Terrapin Leadership Institute and Maryland Leadership Conference.

- AB Experience Leaders (ELs) plan and oversee experience logistics, facilitate peer learning around social justice issues, develop educational and orientation curricula for participants, lead team activities and reflections, and serve as the main contact for their individual AB experience.

Maryland Mentor Corps (MMC) Mentors
- MMC Mentor's tutor 1st-8th Grade students in neighboring PG County Schools once a week while engaging in training and discussions throughout the semester.
- Time Commitment: Minimum of 3 hours per week for one semester
