Real Talk: Being Queer & Your Career
Join the UMD Community for a panel event and networking opportunity as we go beyond the surface of what it means to be an LGBTQ+ professional.
Panelists will engage in discussion around their experiences being out at work, including conversations around the benefits and limitations experienced by sharing identity in the workplace. Panelists will join us from a variety of settings, including higher education, STEM, consulting, and advocacy-based industries, among others. The second part of this program will also allow for panelists and participants to network and continue conversations around these important topics. Join Career Services professionals, LGBTQ+ professionals, students, and others in the UMD community as we address these important topics related to being out at work.
