Research Project Coordinator
Location: Annandale, VA
Salary: $48,672 - $52,416
The family Self-Sufficiency Demonstration Development (FSSDD) project is to evaluate the effectiveness of the integrated intervention for victim clients and to achieve a service protocol for making a best practice intervention program.
Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Family Services & Quality Assurance, the incumbent:
- Work closely with The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) and its third-party evaluation Technical Assistance (TA) provider to use evidence-informed approaches to test the effectiveness and/or conduct an implementation evaluation of a KCSC’s program.
- Be engaged and responsive to communications from ACF and the TA provider.
- Participate in TA and evaluation activities in close partnership with ACF and its third-party TA provider and participate in the Family Self-Sufficiency Demonstration Development Annual Grantee Meetings and Quarterly Calls.
- Data collection from each project coordinator involved.
- Day-to-day implementation of the ACH-funded Family Self-Sufficiency Project.
- Coordinate resources and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social services, social work, psychology, or related human service field, earned in the United States, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience working with survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault and their families is preferred.
- Knowledge of Korean immigrant community and bilingual proficiency (both verbal and written fluency) in English and Korean is a must.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with program evaluation is a plus.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams in diverse settings.
- Experience in working with Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet.
- Valid driver’s license, access to an insured and registered vehicle, and willingness to use a vehicle to travel to outreach events or partner meetings.

Probation Period: Initial three to six months
Work Hours: 40 hours/week
