Restorative Circle Sessions

The Dean’s Student Advisory Council in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, in conjunction with the Justice & Legal Thought Scholars Program, MLAW Programs, and BSOS TerrapinSTRONG is hosting an event focused around restorative justice education.
This event will include two restorative circles that will be led by trained student facilitators who are UMD students themselves! Attendees will have the chance to participate in open conversations covering various topics such as burnout, balancing work and school, mental health, support from university administration, and more. Our aim is to foster a stronger BSOS community!
It will take place on Tuesday, April 23rd, 5-6:30PM, in Tydings 1114 and 1118. We will also have snacks available for attendees. No prior knowledge about restorative justice is required. All students, staff, and faculty members are welcome and encouraged to attend!
