Security Protective Specialists will receive Limited Non-Career Appointments. Appointments may be extended annually up to a total of five years of service. Extensions beyond five years are not permitted.

All applicants must be U.S. citizens and at least 20 years old to apply and at least 21 years of age to be appointed.
