Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) internship - application period open NOW!

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) is the primary investigative arm of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and is currently seeking Student Volunteer Interns for Spring 2018.*  HSI’s Student Volunteer Program (SVP) provides unpaid training opportunities related to your academic program.  Additionally, our program allows you to explore career options as well as develop your personal and professional skills.

Our Student Volunteer internships provide numerous opportunities that will challenge your analytical and leadership skills. Candidate qualifications include:

  • U.S. citizenship;
  • Taking at least a half-time academic course load in an accredited high school or trade school, technical or vocational school, 2 year or 4 year college/university, graduate or professional school;
  • Maintaining through graduation a 2.0 GPA; and
  • Passing a background investigation
