How to Prepare for an Interview Workshop

Interviewing takes practice and interviews do not need to be perfect. You will say "um” at certain points. You will get caught off-guard by an unexpected interview question and will need some time to think through how to best answer it. You may need to ask the interviewer to repeat a question because you want to make sure you understood it correctly. These scenarios are okay! We are human. The key is to be prepared and be yourself throughout the interview process. Open to all majors. Offered through the University Career Center.

Join us in the University Career Center & The President's Promise as we facilitate a conversation with employers on tips and strategies students can use to make a solid first impression during our in-person Career & Internship Fair Wednesday, September 28-Friday, September 30, 2022!Oh, and also grab a slice of pizza while you're here. Staff from the University Career Center will facilitate this conversation, but come with questions to ask the employers, too! Students will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with the employers afterwards. This is an in-person event, but if you would like to listen in on what the employers suggest, you can do so virtually here (you just don't get pizza!)
