“Building a Restorative Campus” Panel
Tuesday, November 14th from 5pm-7pm
The Dean’s Student Advisory Council in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, in conjunction with the Justice & Legal Thought Scholars Program and MLAW Programs, is hosting an event focused around Restorative Justice (RJ) education. Our other campus partners include BSOS, TerrapinSTRONG, BSU-UMD Social Justice Alliance, and Multicultural Involvement & Community Advocacy (MICA).
The event will feature two guest experts in RJ, Josh Bacon and Debra Budiani-Saberi, who will engage in an open discussion about RJ practices in classroom settings, across campus, and beyond. It will take place next Tuesday, November 14th, 5-7PM, in the Atrium located in STAMP. We will also have food available for attendees. All students, staff, and faculty members are welcome and encouraged to attend!
