Meet with U.S. Secret Service: Employer-in-Residence Program
Tuesday, November 08, 2011 • 11:00AM - 04:00PM
Location: UCC - 3100 Hornbake Library

Event Details: This program allows employers to serve as "career advisors" to students seeking help. Employers participate in our daily rotation by providing career advice to students, in a 1-on-1 setting, on issues ranging from resume assistance to answering the question "how do I get a job like yours?” Come learn about ways you can improve your skills and get feedback from industry professionals about what they look for in a candidate.

Services Provided Include:
· Resume Critiques - learn about ways to improve your resume and get feedback from industry professionals about what they look for in a resume.

· Informational Interview - meet with professionals to gather career information, investigate career options, and get advice on job search techniques

· Telling Your Story - employers discuss their personal journey to finding their career and the opportunities they used to reach success in their industry

Online registration in advance is the best way to be sure you are seen at your preferred time (you can choose a 30 minute slot based on availability). However, we will take same-day walk-ins on a first come, first serve basis to fill any empty slots. There is no guarantee that you will be able to walk in and be seen at that time.
