Federal and Global Semester Program



Attention CCJS Students: Seats still available in Federal and Global Semester Programs! APPLY NOW. CCJS students of all years (rising sophomore through senior) welcome!  Rolling admission!  We’d love to have you!

PERKS include:          
  • Take a fall-semester seminar course on a topic of contemporary concern (including homeland and national security, health, energy, science diplomacy)--taught by expert practitioners who bring in guest speakers (security specialists, industry experts, etc.)! 
  • Obtain an extraordinary spring internship at sites ranging from federal (DHS, DoD, etc.), NGOs, private organizations, foreign embassies, White House security details, etc. 
  • Take spring internship credit through our program or through your major or other program!
  • Earn a notation on your transcript: become a Federal or Global Semester Fellow!
  • Enjoy year round empowerment activities:  field trips, professional development, conversations with industry leaders, individual help obtaining internships.
