The Dean’s Student Advisory Council (DSAC) was formed in 2002 and
serves as the voice of the students to the Dean. DSAC is a council of 16 members
each representing one of the BSOS majors as well as the living and learning
community and SGA. Not only do we lead individual project proposals throughout
the semester but also organize a Student Faculty Dinner in the fall and
numerous Brown Bag events where students can meet with Faculty over a
breakfast, lunch, or snack.
As a DSAC Member, you are not only able to create a change
within the College but also help the College strengthen its sense of community.
DSAC has and continues to create better relationships with each academic
department in hopes of being able to better address the issues and concerns of
students.
