Consider Taking A CCJS Summer Course!

Image result for summerSome of our most popular CCJS courses will be offered during the summer in a smaller, more discussion-based setting.  Additionally, we will be offering several courses online.  

Note: We will no longer offer CCJS 300 in Winter session.  If you need to complete the CCJS 200 > CCJS 300 > Criminology course (CCJS 450/451/454) requirement, please keep this in mind!

Courses offered in Summer Session I (May 29 - July 6) include:

  • CCJS 100 - Introduction to Criminal Justice (online)
  • CCJS 105 -Introduction to Criminology (online)
  • CCJS 200 - Statistics for Criminology and Criminal Justice
  • CCJS 300 - Criminological and Criminal Justice Research Methods
  • CCJS 342 - Corrections (online)
  • CCJS 418P - Marijuana, Law and Society

Courses offered in Summer Session II (July 9 - Aug 17) include:

  • CCJS 100 – Introduction to Criminal Justice
  • CCJS 105 – Introduction to Criminology
  • CCJS 320 – Introduction to Criminalistics (evenings 6-8:45 pm only)
  • CCJS 370 - Race, Crime and Criminal Justice (online)
  • CCJS 451 - Crime and Delinquency Prevention (online)

If you are interested in registering for a CCJS summer course, please submit a permission request through the CCJS stamps website: ccjsstamps.umd.edu.  CCJS 100 and 105 do not require permission of the department.
