This event will feature Andrew Reece, CCJS & GVPT '10 , a Senior Crime Analyst at the Roanoke Police Department. Andrew Reece joined the Roanoke Police department in 2016 as a crime analyst. Now a senior crime analyst, Andrew concentrates primarily on crime series, trends/patterns, hot spot analysis, and various data requests that come from inside and outside the department. Prior to working in crime analysis, Andrew worked in bank fraud investigations at Wells Fargo, served as a communications officer for the Virginia Tech Police Department, and also did government contract work for the US Department of Justice.
