Interested in exploring a career in public policy? Want to make new connections?
Every industry has policy-related jobs! For example, public policy professionals have career paths in law, research, policy analysis, advocacy, etc. and focus on solving real-world problems about the relationship of governing bodies and the people, organization and world around us. Public policy basically has three areas: 1) Non- Government Organizations, 2) Federal and 3) Capitol Hill.
Attend this event to learn about different career options available in the field of policy. UMD alumni from a variety of policy fields will share their experiences and insights on how to break into the field. The event will begin with a moderated question and answer and conclude with an opportunity to network with the professionals. The event is open to all current UMD students. Questions? Contact the Feller Center at bsoscareers@umd.edu.
Hosted by: University Career Center and Feller Center in BSOS.
