Have
you had a great experience with an advisor either in your department or in the
College? If so, please consider nominating that advisor for the BSOS
College Spring 2013 Outstanding Undergraduate Advisor Award! The deadline
for nominations has been extended to Friday, March 29, 2013.
Eligibility:
Any
BSOS Advisor is eligible, including: faculty, BSOS College Advisors, and
Departmental Advisors.
Advisors who
have received the award during academic years 2007-2012 are not eligible. A

How
to Nominate an Advisor:
To nominate a person for the award, send a letter of support to Julianna Bynoe at jbynoe@umd.edu that includes the nominee’s name and department and the nominator’s name, address, telephone number and relationship with the nominee (e.g., advisee, supervisor, co-worker, etc.)
Student nominators are encouraged to describe how the advisor has assisted them both academically and personally and why she/he merits special recognition.
All
nominations will be kept confidential
Deadline:
