SSDP: Cops Say Legalize Drugs: Come Find Out Why!

Come join Students for Sensible Drug Policy at UMD as we host the amazing guest speaker retired Major Niell Franklin, Executive Director of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP). Neill served as a law enforcement officer for 34 years in the Maryland State Police and Baltimore Police department. His experience serving as a narcotics agent for several year coupled with the loss of a dear friend changed his view point on opposition to the War on Drugs. Come hear first hand accounts and compelling stories of how the Drug War and Prohibition are causing unnecessary death and destruction. There will be free snacks and refreshments provided.

For more info contact UMD SSDP via facebook or email us at ssdpterps@gmail.com.  This event is free and open to the public.
