Monday, October 12 4:00PM – 5:00PM
Interested in studying abroad in Germany? Come learn about the Maryland-in-Berlin program and the UMD Exchange with Freie University. Both programs offer the opportunity to spend your semester in Berlin, exploring one of the great capitals of Europe! Between these two programs, you may take courses in English while learning German or choose a full-immersion experience at the Freie University. A representative will be available to talk about all of the wonderful things Maryland-in-Berlin and Freie University have to offer.

This event provides a unique opportunity for students and alumni considering law school to meet face to face with law school admissions representatives from across the country. Over 100 law schools typically attend this event.

Do you know how to prepare to look for a job in the United States? Are you an International student? If you answered “Yes," then you will find this upcoming event very informative. As an International student, you are invited to hear Dan Beaudry, author of the book, Power Ties: The International Student’s Guide to Finding a Job in the United States. This FREE event will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 10a.m. - 12noon in the Nyumburu Cultural Center multipurpose room.

This career expo will inform undergraduate & graduate students about internship & career opportunities in the Public Health Science, Kinesiology, Family Science, Community Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Health Services Administration fields. Government, nonprofit and private sector employers will attend. Many local graduate level programs will also be there to answer questions that you have. Please bring copies of your resume to distribute to employers. Professional attire encouraged.

Wednesday, Oct 14 10:00AM – 6:00PM
Attention Seniors!  October 14th at the University Book Center from 10:00AM - 6:00PM is your chance to purchase your cap and gown for graduation.  You will also have the chance to meet with representatives to order your class ring along with graduation announcements.
Note: If you are unable to attend the Grad Fair on Oct. 14th, please be sure to visit the University Book Center as soon as possible after that date to purchase your regalia.  November 9th is the last day the Book Center can guarantee correct style/size for students attending commencement.

What is study abroad? How does it work at UMD? Where do I even start? Get started with our Study Abroad 101 sessions! This session is designed to give an overview of study abroad at the University of Maryland and answer general questions.  We will cover the basics about academics, finances, locations, and how to plan to go abroad!  No prior research, preparation, or sign-up is required.
