Because the University was closed due to inclement weather
at the beginning of the spring 2016 semester on Monday, January 25, and
Tuesday, January 26, the schedule adjustment period has been extended by two
days to February 9, 2016.
The last day of the Schedule Adjustment Period is Tuesday,
February 9, 2016 for the spring semester. Students should
review their courses and check that their official enrollment matches the courses
they are attending. Often, students do not realize that they are still enrolled
in a course which they thought they had dropped, or do not know that they are
attending a course in which they are not enrolled.
It is much easier to correct these problems now, than at the
end of the semester when your grades are posted.
Add and Drop Classes: Students can add, drop or change
course sections during the schedule adjustment period. Courses added prior to
and during the schedule adjustment period will appear on the student’s
permanent record. Courses dropped prior to or during the schedule adjustment
period will not appear on the student record, nor will they count towards the
number of attempts a student has for any given course.
Pass-Fail Policy:
Courses for which this option applies must be electives in the student's
program. The courses may not be college, major, field of concentration, or
general education program requirements. The full policy can be viewed on the
Undergraduate Catalog.
What should students do?
- Check your enrollment in Testudo under “Registration (Drop/Add)” by February 9th.
- Make sure you are enrolled in all of the correct courses.
- Make sure you have dropped those you no longer plan to take.
- Visit either BSOS or CCJS Advising if you have any questions!
