Want to study abroad but don't know where to start? Begin with Study Abroad 101!
This session is designed to give an overview of study abroad at the University of Maryland and answer general questions.  We will cover the basics about academics, finances, locations, and how to plan to go abroad!
After participating in this session you will be able to conduct a program search and be ready to meet one-on-one with an Education Abroad advisor to discuss the details of your study abroad journey!

Are you looking for a way to build your resume and experience a new culture this summer?  Learn more about the new program, “Disabilities in a Global Context!”  This program provides credit-bearing internship opportunities for students to work with organizations dedicated to supporting people with disabilities.  Locations currently include Ghana, Peru, and Ecuador, with more locations coming in the future.  Bring your lunch!

Maryland-in-London Summer: Building Sustainable Communities - Information session

Earn 6 credits in London this summer while fulfilling three General Education requirements!  You will have the opportunity to focus on sustainability through a practical internship experience.  Plus, you get the added bonus of analyzing and studying global issues seen through the lens of London and the United Kingdom!

Join the Social Entrepreneur Corps(link is external) (SEC) program in their mission to create positive impact in Latin America by empowering local communities through social innovations implemented in the most remote rural areas. This unique eight week study and internship program will teach you the basic principles of social entrepreneurship through courses, case studies, discussions, and hands-on, practical experience. You will work side-by-side with SEC development professionals and local field based entrepreneurs to develop empowering entrepreneurial business models in Nicaragua. the Dominican Republic or Ecuador.
